Surface Repairs

Before undertaking any decorative concrete applications, a key part of the preparation step is to check for any concrete cracks. Dulux Avista Crack Repair Kit is a two-component, epoxy resin system to which clean fine sand is added to produce epoxy mortars with a variety of consistencies. The epoxy mortars can be used to treat certain types of concrete cracks prior to any decorative concrete application.  

There are a number of different treatments, depending on the type of surface repair required. We always recommend speaking to a professional applicator who will be able to advise whether surface repairs are a viable option. 

Note: any required crack repair must be assessed on a case by case basis, and its success cannot be guaranteed. The nature of concrete is that there is always the possibility of movement in the future, so this is something that must be considered.
