Dulux Avista creates flake flooring by first adding a coat of low sheen Waterbased Epoxy to concrete floors, using a base colour of your choice. Then it's time to choose the flake blend that suits your home. Finally, a clear, high gloss sealer at the end ensures a long-lasting, hard-wearing floor.
Our Decorative Flakes come in six beautiful colour blends comprised of small polymer flakes. They can be applied with a full or partial coverage. Partial coverage creates the terrazzo look that homeowners love. Keep in mind the base colour you choose makes a huge impact on the final look.
Here are our top 3 sellers:
1. Ashy Grey
Ashy Grey is our highest seller and great all-rounder! A combination of grey, black and white flecks means Ashy Grey can work with nearly every colour scheme. In the images below, the two swatches show how Ashy Grey will appear on different base coats. The third image is Ashy Grey flakes on a Chris White base applied in a garage. All these images show partial flake coverage.
No 2. Grey Clouds
In softer brown and grey tones, Grey Clouds looks stunning in homes with warmer colour schemes and natural accents such as timber. In the photo below, this garage has been given a base coat of Stone Monument before the Grey Clouds Flakes were applied.
No 3. Navy Granite
This is a bolder choice, with blue flecks adding a pop of colour alongside white and grey. Here it is applied over a Trunk Grey base coat.
Again, both the swatches below show the effect of partial flake coverage.
Dulux Avista's Natural Stone Look Flakes is our premium range for flooring, with different sized flakes creating the gorgeous look of real stone. There are six off-the-shelf blends but these are the most popular.
No 1. Night Fall
The darkest blend in the range, Night Fall makes a bold statement. It is an incredibly low maintenance option for high traffic floors, which is why it's so popular.
No 2. Rocky Ridge
Pale and neutral Rocky Ridge will make your room look larger. If you like a light and airy feel, this is a great option to make the most of natural sunlight.
No 3. Dalmation Stone
Our third highest seller is an easy choice, with a subtle blend of neutral flakes. It looks beautiful with a Beige Tusk base in the real projects pictured below.
